In recent years, the Middle East has become an important market for Foshan. From January to June 2025, Foshan's exports to Gulf Cooperation Council countries reached 8.63 billion yuan, a 2% increase year-on-year. Among them, exports to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia were 4.27 billion yuan and 3.39 billion yuan, respectively. Currently, the demand for home furnishing products such as ceramics, aluminum profiles, and furniture in the region is growing rapidly, aligning with Foshan's trillion-yuan industrial clusters in home furnishing and equipment manufacturing.
Foshan is exploring opportunities in the Middle East by leveraging its strengths in manufacturing, trade fairs, and cross-border e-commerce. The city is assisting companies in participating in key exhibitions, establishing overseas warehouses and distribution centers, and promoting local products such as home appliances, ceramics, aluminum profiles, solar solutions, and energy storage systems to enter the region's emerging infrastructure market.
