Recently, a cruise tour of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link made its maiden voyage at the Shenzhen Airport Ferry Terminal.
During the 100-minute voyage, the cruise ship passed through the world-class cross-sea project, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, where tourists can enjoy the urban landscape on the east bank of the Pearl River Estuary from the Lingdingyang sea surface.
"If you take this cruise ship at around 5 p.m. when the weather is good, you can see the most beautiful sunset on the sea in Shenzhen," said Peng Wei, the operation manager of Shenzhen Oceanus Group.
At the event, the first series of cultural products themed around the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link were also released, including ice creams, postcards, and stamps. Tourists can take a close-up photo with the new landmark—the Shenzhong Bridge—while holding an ice cream designed to match the bridge.
This cruise ship, operated by Shenzhen Oceanus Group, starts and ends at the Shenzhen Airport Ferry Terminal. It features a variety of activities to enhance the tour experience, including traditional Chinese Hanfu performance, fun Q&A sessions, sea prayers, and tours led by young guides.
Currently, Bao'an District has joined hands with Zhongshan's Cuiheng New District to integrate the unique cultural and tourism resources of both regions into a chain, jointly launching four themed routes, covering red tourism attractions, specialty cuisine, and more.
Upon the opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, the Culture, Radio, TV, Tourism, and Sports Bureau of Bao'an District will collaborate with the culture and tourism departments of Zhongshan to organize key cultural and tourism enterprises in both regions to hold tourism promotion activities in shopping malls and scenic areas with significant customer flow. The goal is to explore new models of cultural and tourism attraction in the gateway areas.
